For me, the current in the antenna strongly depends on the outside temperature

Here I find that when the trees are deeply frozen, the antenna becomes more efficient for two reasons: First the loss resistance goes down, allowing more current with the same power. Secondly, there is less shielding of the the elecrtrical fields in the environment, increasing the effective height.

Interesting. Reports for the reception of FW30 from DL0AO are sent to wsprnet a minute and a half before the end of the program

Yes we have magic powers and can look a little bit into the future ;-)

Actually the reason is that all decoders for the 2, 5 and 30 minute modes become active at the same time before the full and half hour, causing a large spike in the processor load. So we decided to shorten the 30 minute wav recording to 1690 seconds and start the jt9.exe decoder earlier. Theoretically this compromise sacrifices around 0.2 dB SNR.

Not a bad passer this night, once in QRSS-60 TA transmitted - so you can see it well. Once in Opds-32 and several times in FST4W.
Yes conditions were good last night, pity that WSPRnet is down. Also the 6.25 Hz Chayka lines from Slonim were unusually strong. In the 0.477 mHz opds window, we can even see a grid of little 0.39 Hz lines, caused by the periodically modulated 9th Chayka pulse.

Hi Sergey,
unfortunately this was a false detection. DN5TS has not been active since 2014.

FST4W uses the same bands as WSPR: LF 137.4 - 137.6 kHz (dial frequency 136 kHz USB), MF 475.6 - 475.8 kHz (dial 474.2 kHz USB).

Hi Alexei,

we usually switch the cardioid to east-north-east for a few hours during our late afternoon and early evening. But later at night, we like to turn it to the west to optimize for VO1NA and other potential TA stations. But it also depends on noise and lightning conditions as we try to steer arway from the QRN. And sometimes we forget to switch at all... Currently the F/B ratio is anyway not very good, mostly because of the different E-field sensitivity in the winter time.

Now that is a strange QRM pattern! I have never seen something like it before.

Прием на длинных волнах / Re: Сегодня в эфире

We are starting to travel today, so there will be no LF transmissions from DF6NM until mid of next week.

73 and good luck,
Markus

Thank you Andrei for mentioning the reception. My radiated power is almost 20 dB weaker than DL7NN. Last week he got good FW5 reports from VK6MJM and VK2AN. So I thought I could have a chance to reach Australia in FW30, and transmitted a few times. Unfortunately my dream did not yet come true.

Best 73,

QRZ.com writes: "No matter where the fighters came from, from Georgia or Abkhazia, Ukraine or Uzbekistan, here the Tatar fought alongside the Russian and the Jew."

Now some of you are fighting against each other?
