Strange, but no one decoded in FW2 (??)
Hi Alex, during that night I noticed that WSPR-2 decoded fine at DL0AO, whereas FW-2 was also visible in the waterfall but did not decode. I think the reason was the PC clock deviation due to the broken NTP correction on your side. I think that correct timing is much more critical for FST4 than for WSPR, and it is also less able to handle frequency drift.

June 5-6 Best QRB / reports R7NT acty
Hi Alex, my LF grabber was alive but had lost internet connection for a couple of nights. 11 spots from Sat/Sun have now been uploaded.  73, Markus

Nice signals from R7NT and RA3TTS at DL0AO.

Thanks Sergey for the friendly feedback. This afternoon, Bernd DF9RB went to the shack in the forest and restarted the PC. We are glad if the grabber is useful. On many evenings, and also today, the cardioid is pointing northeast, hoping to catch some signals from your part of the world.

It is a pity that the DL0AO grabber does not work
Yes we are aware of the problem, the grabber PC froze and we cannot reach it remotely. We intend to go to the site tomorrow and hope that we can fix it.

you were like IR3LW / 120

The map shows two labels, R3LW/120 on top of R3LW/1800. Same effect for "IRX3DHR".

We are very pleased to decode UA0AET at DL0AO and DF6NM in Bavaria. The FW30 signal was also well visible in the spectrogram https://vlf.u01.de/LF/LFgrabber/lf2_18UT.jpg

Unfortunately his frequency seems to be near the Chayka line on 137481.25 Hz, which may cause some interference, especially in eastern Europe. Also UA4AAV is sending exactly on another Chayka line, 137525.00 Hz.  Would it not be better to QSY a little bit (e.g. 1 Hz) to avoid this interference?

Actually Riccardo, IW4DXW on 136172 Hz. Thanks for the screenshot Sergey!

RA3TTS at DL0AO.

Oh no, this is very sad. His beautiful signal was here only a couple of weeks ago, it feels like yesterday. I can hardly believe it.

Another problem is that the Europeans "strangle" the distant reception of each other.
At DL0AO and DF6NM, we try to mitigate this problem using SpecLab's "frequency selective limiter" (FSL). In the FFT filter box, you can draw a red line about 20 dB above the noise level. The FSL will then limit all strong carriers to that level. The noise blanker should be installed after the FFT filter in the L4-L5 blackbox. The only disadvantage of this method is that the strong signal itself (e.g. DL0HOT) will be distorted, and the decoder will not show it's full SNR.

Best wishes for your health, hope to see you on the air again soon!

On DL0AO there are some problems with the software - for me, DL4DCL, PA0LSB, F4GUK, powerful signals are viewed on the WSPR / FST4W / OP32 grabber in both directions at 100Hz and also the corresponding spots are issued on wsprnet.org
Hi Alex, yesterday DL0AO suffered from strong and long-lasting local interference from an unidentified switchmode power-supply, sweeping across the LF-band at 100 Hz repetition rate. This produced the previously mentioned effect of sidebands due to periodic triggering of the noise blanker. Unfortunately we have not yet found the source of the interference.
