ANNOUNCEMENT:
New Award Certificates for 630M and 2200M
Amateur Radio Longwave Pioneer Award certificates are available, designed to recognize and encourage research/authorship/presentation, and to promote 2-way communication on the new Longwave bands.
WSPR or other beaconing modes are not addressed; they are not denigrated or discouraged, but these awards are meant to encourage 2-way QSOs. Non-US hams are encouraged to apply and the intent is for endorsements to be inclusive of them.
There is no charge for the certificates, though a donation to help pay for postage etc. would be welcome.
They are 8 1/2 x 11 inches and printed on high-quality textured card stock.
The awards look better than the photos, LOL.
Qualification for Basic Certificates:
10 confirmed QSOs for 630 Mtrs Certificate.
5 confirmed QSOs for 2200 Mtrs Certificate.
and/or:
Researcher: public contributor of data to advance understanding of the bands.
Author: Published/Publishes a website or print articles.
Presentor: Has Presented about the bands at clubs, hamfests etc.
Activation: On the air from one's home State or DX entity, the first month bands were open, successfully completing at least 3 confirmed QSOs from there.
and/or
5 confirmed QSOs from any state or non-US DX entity not previously activated.
(i.e. first on-air in Wyoming, Nevada, Mississippi, Mexico etc.)
QSO Endorsements:
5(2200 only)- 10 - 20 - 30 - 40 - 48 U.S. States
5-10-15-20 non-US ARRL DX entities.
Hawaii
Alaska
3 - 6 - 10 VE Provinces/Territories
Asia
Africa
Oceania
Europe
Central America
South America
USA (Non-N.American ops)
CW OP: 5 confirmed QSOs using A1 CW mode.
Phone Op: 5 confirmed QSOs using a Phone mode.
As more States/DX entities are worked, states activated, articles published, etc, new endorsement stickers will be issued for a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Let me know if your certificate or stickers get damaged.

Include your call, name, return address and the сertificates/endorsements for which you qualify. Yes; this is the "honour system." In a community as small as ours, if someone tries to "blow smoke," most of us are going to know, so I'll rely on your good word.
I expect to offer a limited number of certificates-just not sure how many yet. Probably around a hundred or two.
This is a "labor of love," folks, and I still have a demanding job and family, so I might be slow from time-to-time, and these do take some effort and expense to create.
Please be patient with me.

хотя... был же у нас - slow voice! даже целая движуха была по этому поводу в 2013г!

Пересмотрел и карточки - у меня, оказывается есть 5 QSO и 4 карточки. Не хватает QSL от RA3YO/RK2Y за наше QSO 13 янв 2011 г. Оно длилось с 16:00 до 17:30 UTC в DFCW-30/10, при этом я позвал CQ, а Дмитрий тогда ответил! Во были времена, работал на общий вызов! :)

Найду положение RSGB'шного - сюда выложу. Я так его и не сподобился получить - но там с оплатой непонятно было как в те давние годы
Еще на польский авард есть нужное кол-то 2way (3 или 5 QSO), но тоже как-то сразу не получил, а сейчас и не знаю есть ли он - думаю сейчас с оплатой проблем нет
А за slow voice спрошу, но он наверное совсем не в курсе о таком :)
Вообще янки достаточно активно в SSB на 630м работают
