Hello everyone,
VK6MJM is now operational on 2200 m FST4W-300, audio 1438 Hz, WSJT-X cadence 2/2, transmissions through until 0000 UTC. We're listening as well as transmitting and, while there's still plenty of static, the QRN situation is improved over previous nights this week.
Looking at the depressing situation on 630 m in this part of the world, I'll keep VK6MJM transmitting and receiving on 2200 m for both tonight and tomorrow night. From Saturday the receiver will be running continuously on 2200 m in both FST4W-300 and FST4W-1800 modes. "Continuously" means, of course, for as long as these first remote operations last.
73, Peter.
