thanks for the report of the beacon IQ2MI of this night (screenshot). Now the radiated power is about 1 W e.r.p. and the beacon is QRV every day (only evening and night - from 16.00 to 7.00 UTC), have already received 61 reports of listening, including your own, in Europe & Italy since the start on October 9 2011 (until Nov 8, 2011 with only 20/25 mW e.r.p. - 34 HRD report - DX by OH1LSQ grabber with 2114 km).
The night of November 10 I saw on grabber of Chris 4X1RF in Haifa (KM72LS) a good signal of IQ2MI then DX = 2624 km). It is also considerable the distance between Milan and Moscow (report Nov 12, from Andrey RN3AGC - 2287 km) and now your report with QRB of 2782 km - new DX! THANK YOU! - Have a little question: the time on screenshot was UTC, MSK or local time (I want know about sunrise ...) and what receiver and antenna you used. Thanks for these information (just to complete the LOG here).
Next steps will be:
- Make QSO directly on 500 kHz or crossband 600 m / 80 m (maybe in the next week)
- Try with digital systems
Our authorization will expire on December 31 2011 and will try for a renewal at least until the end of February 2012.
