Hi LFers,
HOW TO FIND W5EST ARTICLES ON TRANSPACIFIC (TP) OR TRANS-AFRICA 630M PROPAGATION
W5EST 630m articles are at
https://www.qrz.com/db/KB5NJD . Scroll about halfway for 2016 blogbook then click to open chapter 17 and scroll to article dated 5/13/16 and much farther down for 5/7, 5/9, 5/10/16 articles. These tell about the unexpectedly strong TP signals and mention the idea of chordal hop only in the equatorial anomaly.
In the 2017-2018 yearbook, click to open chapter 17A2 and scroll to article dated 9/25/17 which proposes multiple-path 630m TP propagation at the equatorial anomaly. Still more information on the remarkable TP propagation is in my posts from 9/19/17 to 10/18/17.
To help you find the EU-FR5 article 5/21/18 about trans-Africa propagation, go to chapter 17A3, last article in the 2020 yearbook. (It's also in the 2017-18 yearbook.) John KB5NJD's recent post is correct. It's the last article, Page 127 of the link "630m from Spain to Reunion Island across Africa…How?"...

To find 630m articles from KB5NJD blogs 2016-2020, go to
https://www.qrz.com/db/KB5NJD and scroll to the particular year(s) the yearbook covers. Alternatively, simply click the direct links to each of the yearbooks John posted:
2016 Volume 1:
https://www.qrz.com/db/kb5njd#VOL12017-18 Volume 2:
https://www.qrz.com/db/kb5njd#VOL22019 Volume 3:
https://www.qrz.com/db/kb5njd#VOL32020 Volume 4:
https://www.qrz.com/db/kb5njd#VOL4 At the particular volume, then look at its chapter title links for a chapter having a subject category you are interested in. Then click-open that chapter and look through the articles for information you want. Some chapters are subdivided into more specific subtopic sections and you scroll down in the chapter to the section where articles on that subtopic are compiled. Mostly the articles are in chronological order and they are written by various 630m operators plus the articles and interviews I did as well.
Enjoy!
